The Deeper Shade of Soul
Formed in late 2008, The Deeper Shade of Soul is the head on collision of some of Florida's top groove makers. Hailing formerly from groups such as Sound Chemist, The Pocket Mob, Ghetto Love Sugar, and The Various Others, the four bandmates together form a fusion of crusty street grooves, lo-fi funk sensibility, grinding organ, thumping bass, pocket drums, and soulful, soaring guitars.
